REQUEST FOR USE OF BADEN-POWELL PARK
CAMP RESERVATION FORM

This request for the use of Baden-Powell Park should be completed and submitted electronically to the Council Service center no less than seven (7) working days before the intended camping date.  Approval by the Field Director or Scout Executive is required.

The use of Baden-Powell Park will include a fee of $1.00 per Scout or $5.00 per non-Scout.  The use of the Headquarters building or any other facility has a cost of $10.00 per day.  Each Unit/ Group who wish to use Baden-Powell Park must conduct an approved Camp Service/ Conservation Project for Baden-Powell Park before or while at the camp.  Projects may be discussed with the Field Director or a member of the Baden-Powell Development Committee.

Conditons for Camp Use

 

We agree to follow the Dual Leadership Guideline with at least two (2) adults in camp the entire camp out time.  Co-ed Posts must have male and female adults.  We will follow all the Safety Policies as printed in the current "Guide to Safe Scouting".  Each adult will have been certified or instructed in Youth Protetion Guidelines before arrival.  We understand that if aquatic activities are planned, we must implement and use **Safe Swim Defense and/ or Safety Afloat.

All campfires will be in approved areas and properly supervised.  We will stress sanitation in cooking at all times, washing cookware and dishes in a BSA approved manner.  The wash stands in latrines will not be used for dishes at any time !

THE COUNCIL NO LONGER PERMITS PETS ON COUNCIL CAMP PROPERTIES.
