Five locations were approved for Cub Scout Packs to camp as a unit. These were:

• South Llano State Park
• Enchanted Rock
• Lost Maples State Park
• Camp Sol Mayer
• San Angelo State Park

Remember to follow the guidelines listed below when camping as a Pack.

The Boy Scouts of America has set the following guidelines for Cub Scout Packs wishing to camp on their own:

REQUIREMENTS FOR PACK CAMPOUTS

1. Campsite must be Council approved.
2. The Pack must file a tour permit with the Council.
3. A "BALOO" trained, registered, adult leader must go on the campout.
4. The Pack must follow 2 deep leadership.
5. Follow all BSA and Youth Protection guidelines.

Click here to get another location approved for Cub Camping. Once Turned in, the Camping, Risk Management, and Program Committees of the Council will visit the camps and give final descision.
