Trail Welcomes New District Executive!
The Amangi
Trail District would like to welcome Richard Kitchen
as its’ new Unit-Serving Executive. Richard joined
the Concho Valley staff on December 28, 2004 and has
already been busy visiting winter camp and getting to
know some of the volunteers of the district.
Richard
brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. He
has been working as a substitute teacher for the San
Angelo Independent School District, has owned his own
sporting goods store and worked for the State of Texas
Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.
Richard
grew up in Big Spring and is familiar with West Texas.
Richard is also bi-lingual.

Amangi
Trail District Banquet Was Held December 11th
The Amangi
Trail District Banquet was held Saturday, December 11th
in San Angelo. After enjoying a great meal prepared
by Mike and Sarabeth Erickson and Frank Berthold, the
district volunteers recognized several Scouts and Scouters
who have provided significant service to the district.
Training
awards were passed out, top popcorn salesmen were recognized
and a new award was introduced at this year’s banquet,
the Amangi Trailblazer award was bestowed upon Lisa
Mahler, Bryn Crandell and Jennifer Cheatham for their
recent service to the district.
Frank
Berthold, District Commissioner was recognized with
the top award the district can give, the District Award
of Merit.
