Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner
The Executive Board of the Concho Valley Council is pleased to announce that Dr. James Hindman, President of Angelo State University, will receive the Distinguished Citizen Award. The Distinguished Citizen Award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to Scouting and have exemplified the values that Scouts hold high in their daily lives.

Dr. Hindman, a former Council Executive Board member, has dedicated his life to the development of young people. His influence in the San Angelo community is unmatched. His impact on young adults as a history teacher and university administrator is demonstrated with the success stories of the many students whose lives he has touched during his 40-plus-year career as an educator.

The Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday,   November 28 at the C. J. Davidson Center in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont, at Angelo State University.
