Amangi Trail Continued from Page 4
Become involved and work with the District to make these events more successful.

A reminder December, January, February recharters are fast approaching, prepare your unit to start working on updating rosters and turning new forms into the council office. Please note that our District will be asking to change all recharter dates to December. This will allow the District to serve each unit in a more timely and effective manner. Keeping your Pack, Troop, or Crew current with the councils’ data will ultimately streamline the recharter process and help us to support you better.

Be informed. Come to District Roundtables the (2nd) second Thursday of every month at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church at 7pm. Roundtable is the best time to update yourself on training dates, upcoming events, date changes, and most importantly, the best time to get help with membership, program, or any other concerns associated with your unit. If the day and time do not fit your schedule please let the Roundtable staff know and we will make a point to get vital information you missed out to your unit. We want you to be successful and the Roundtable meetings will most certainly help you to accomplish success.

The Amangi Trail District would like to Thank and recognize Mike Brown for Volunteering to become chairman for the District’s Nominating Committee. On behalf of the entire District we would like to Thank and wish David and Melissa Schreiner farewell in their journey’s traveling towards their next scout council in Arizona. A big thanks goes to Mike & Sarabeth Erickson for Co-Chairing the Amangi Trail Webelos Woods Event held October 28, 2006.

District Commissioner Frank Berthold : Commissioners are people who work behind the scenes.  A good commissioner is one who helps a Unit succeed many times without the Unit knowing the commissioner has helped.  If you have what it takes to be one of us, contact your District Commissioner.  If you don't know who your District Commissioner is look on Page 4 at the top or contact your District Executive or the scout office for the information.
