Summer
Camp Director Notes Summer
camp for Boy Scouts is just around the corner! A great new merit
badge program is being added for this summer.
The council is upgrading the Rappelling tower to include a climbing
wall. This will allow us to offer the “Climbing Merit Badge” for
the first time. We encourage all the troops attending to take advantage
of this new offering. A total of 25 merit badges and the Ranch Adventure
Program will be offered at camp this year. So come join us for a
great scout camp experience.
The
staff for summer camp is in the final stages of being selected.
We still need to fill four staff positions for camp. These include
an archery director, a waterfront director, a camp steward and the
ranch adventure director. Anyone interested in these positions should
contact the camp director, Keith Mahler. He may be reached at (325)
655-7107 or (800)321-7107 or by e-mail at
.
