 RACE TO SCOUTING
The Permian Basin would like to send out a big Thank you to all involved in helping to get our Race to Scouting recruitment done this year at our local schools and communities. There have been at least 100 boys recruited so far this new school year.Although we still have a little ways to go to reach our goal in recruitment, I wanted to say "Thank You" for the work currently done.
 If your community, Pack or Troop is interested in doing a Cub Scout or Boy Scout Rally anytime during the school year, please contact Roberta for information on making it happen. Recruiting through-out the school year is vital in maintaining
and building a healthy Unit. With scouts moving through out the year, recruiting is needed to replenish your Pack or Troop to ensure its success.
Upcoming Events: As the 2007-year surpasses us and the New Year draws near so do some of our Annual Events. Be sure to begin planning early for the following occurring in the first few months of the New Year:

Unregistered District Committee Members
Currently the Permian Basin has many committee members who give of their time to help and support the scouting program. However, many of them have applications that have expired and need renewing. In the next few weeks' applications will be mailed along with a self-addressed envelope to those who are needed to reapply in order to maintain registration. Your prompt return of these applications completed is vital
