The Amistad District Com- mittee has elected to move the District meetings to the First United Methodist Church, 100 Spring Street, Del Rio Texas. We will be meeting in the basement of the Church every 3rd Monday of the Month. Remember the District meeting is in Del Rio with Uvalde Volunteers by phone conference.Any other communities are welcome to participate. Thank you. The Roundtable training will continue to be at the LDS Church on Kings Way St., Del Rio, Texas.

We had great fun at Webelos Woodss program at Camp Fawcett. The event was held September 29 and 30 ending Sunday. We had 109 people in attendance.

I want to thank the OA for the great service projects done at the Fall Ordeal at Camp Fawcett, October 6, 2007. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped.

We are very busy running rallies at the public schools. Some units are turning in re-charters. Right now is the time for the units to start thinking about District Recognition. Contact Danny Williams, or Pat Ramos for more information.

New for calendar: December 6, 2007 will be the new date for the Amistad Christmas Party. This is also the last roundtable for 2007. The party will be at the LDS Church in Del Rio on Kings Way. All volunteers are welcome. Bring a gift for exchange of about $10. Remember this year all units will re-charter in December!! Contact Gerardo Martinez  for more information.

The Concho Valley Council has put together some exciting Cub Scout Den leader Kits. There are all kinds of inserts in this folder, listed are a few. These are available at no cost to all den leaders. Contact your District Executive for a copy. Plan your weekly den meeting for an entire month with "Den Meeting in a Box". There are cool Cub Scouting projects in each box.
