GIFTS IN KIND
Every year dozens of people, firms and organizations provide support to the Concho Valley Council and never send a check or attend a meeting. These gifts are projects sales. Often these take the form of a “gift in kind.” This is when a good or service that the council would normally have to purchase with Friends of Scouting dollars is provided at no cost.
Everything from paper clips to toilet paper, reams of papers to cases of fluorescent light tubes, bales of hay to sets of tires are all vital to the on going programs of the council. Of course, making sure that the right sizes or amounts of these items are received in a timely basis is very important. So, if you have a surplus of something sitting in a closet at home or work, please contact Devin Koehler at the Council Office by e-mail
or call 655-7107 or 800-321-7107 to see if your abundance is in short supply.
