Family Friends of Scouting gives parents and other family members of youth who are currently registered in Scouting a chance to help insure that the program continues to prosper and grow across the council.
The program involves having a 5-7 minute presentation that tells the overall story of Scouting. Afterwards, every family has the opportunity to support Scouting.
Recognition items are presented to families who make contributions and/or pledges of support. These recognition items include;
- Unit Participation Ribbon
- Gifts up to $39 – FOS sticker for each vehicle
- Gifts of $40 – FOS temporary patch
- Gifts of $75 – Knife
- Gifts of $100 - Special FOS cap
- Gifts of $125 - Commemorative council strip patch*
- Gifts of $150 – 100th Anniversary CVC Back Patch
*The CSP for 2009 is commemorating the five founders of the Boy Scouts of America. See patch above. Based on the budget for 2009 it will cost approximately $150 to deliver the Scouting program to each youth throughout the 24 counties we serve. Help today and contribute to help Scouting continue.
