From Behind the Steering
Wheel
Thanks to all volunteers who
have given up their time to make this year a success. Spring Camporee
at Camp Fawcett was very well attended and a pleasure to participate in.
Congratulations to all patrols that participated. You deserve recognition
for a job well done. Let’s plan on meeting again at the Fall Camporee.
Speaking of the Fall
Camporee, please let your Scoutmaster or Webelos Den Leader now what you
liked or did not like about the Spring Camporee. I want to incorporate
YOUR ideas into our district Camporee this fall, scheduled for October 22nd
& 23rd - somewhere closer to San Angelo!
Many units still have
not brought their charter in. Please contact me if you need help or
simply cannot find your charter.
Remember, your Pack
or Troop cannot advance any Scouts or attend any functions if your charter
has not been renewed. The unit is also NOT INSURED IF THE CHARTER
HAS LAPSED!
If you need help or have
any questions, please don’t hesitate to call me. If I am not in the
office (655-7107), mobile: (277-0397). After hours, my home phone
is 653-4606.
