NATIONAL JAMBOREE, 2001
STRONG VALUES STRONG LEADERS
14th National Scout Jamboree

36 Scouts with 4 Leaders will depart from the Concho Valley on July 20th to travel to Washington, D.C. and the 2001 National Scout Jamboree, and return on August 1, 2001.

Come join the fun... you are invited to  celebrate 90 years of the Boy Scouts of America at the 14th National Jamboree. It will be an extravaganza filled with fun and adventure. Since 1937, nearly 600,000 Scouts and leaders have participated and have brought home memories that last a lifetime. Please join us and the 38,000 Boy Scouts, Explorers and leaders from all 50 states, territories, plus many foreign countries that will attend the 2001 National Jamboree.

The opportunity to attend the 2001 Jamboree is the chance of a lifetime. National Jamborees are held every 4 years - the chance won't come again until 2005.

The Jamboree fee is $1,800.00. This covers all transportation, tours, admission fees, meals, lodging, Troop and Patrol equipment, accident and sickness insurance, and pre-Jamboree training. The cost is well worth the value to the Scouts attending.

To reserve a spot, call the Scout Office at 915 655-7107.  Our troop is filling now and if someone is interested, should act now.
