What you can expect from your
 District Executive

It is the job of the District Executive to ensure the program of Scouting flourishes throughout his District. D.E.’s accomplish this by working through District Committees and the District Commissioner Service, made up of volunteers from all walks of life.

The District Executive works in partnership with 2 volunteers known as the District Chairman and the District Commissioner. District Executives work with the organizations which sponsor Scouting to ensure that the program is made available to all youth throughout their area.  They also help provide support for the Chartered Organization and training experiences for adult leaders and youth. As employees of the Concho Valley Council, covering a large geographic area, D.E.’s spend a great deal of time on the road and work long hours.

While he may not always be available for your call, your DE will try to answer your questions and address your concerns in a timely manner.
